2021-2022 Financial Aid Application Checklist

In order to be considered for Penn need-based financial aid, you must submit all of the following information by the dates listed.

If your parents live and work in the U.S., follow the application instructions for U.S. citizens, with the exception of filing a FAFSA. 

Deadlines
Early Decision November 2, 2020
Regular Decision February 1, 2021
Transfer April 12, 2021

Follow these deadlines to receive your financial eligibility at the same time as your admissions decision. Applications received after these dates will be processed as quickly as possible.

Financial Aid Application for Canadian Citizens

Complete and submit the Canadian Financial Aid Application to Student Financial Services.

CSS Profile

Submit online to The College Board.

The 2021-2022 CSS Profile will be available beginning October 1, 2020. 

Penn’s CSS code is 2933.

Federal Tax Returns

Submit parent and student 2019 federal provincial income tax returns, including all pages, schedules, and T-4 slips, to Student Financial Services.

Note: Don't file taxes? You still need to submit a Tax I.D. Form confirming your non-filer status or your application will remain incomplete.

How to Submit Documents to SRFS

Please send your tax returns directly to SFS, as Penn does not participate in CSS/IDOC Services.

To ensure the privacy of your information, please do not submit documents via email.
