Payment Processing Update

Student Registration & Financial Services will be working remotely until 1/21/2022. During this time, the Student Accounts staff will be processing paper checks on Tuesday and Fridays. We encourage students/parents to utilize Penn.Pay to make an electronic check/credit card payment as this is the fastest way to make a payment. There is no additional fee to make an electronic ACH payment. Credit cards are subject to a convenience fee.

One of the most common questions we receive is from students and family members inquiring about the status of their payment. The easiest way to learn the most current status of your payment is to log in to Penn.Pay. Penn.Pay is the best record of your student account, including payments, charges, and financial aid credits.

See below for some additional guidance on how long it takes for certain types of payment to post to your student account:

  • Payments received online via Penn.Pay are generally posted within 2 business days of receipt.
  • Payments received in person are generally posted within 2 business days of receipt.
  • Payments received in the mail are generally posted within 5-7 business days of receipt.
  • Payments received via wire transfer can be tracked through our vendor, Flywire.
