Tuition Refund Plan
Enrollment is now open for the Dewars Tuition Refund Plan for the 2019-2020 academic year. The deadline to enroll is August 27, 2019. Applications cannot be accepted after that date.
Penn partners with A.W.G. Dewar, Inc. to offer the Tuition Refund Plan to our undergraduate students and parents.
The Tuition Refund Plan will minimize the financial portion of losses incurred if a student suffers a serious illness or accident, and needs to leave the University before the term is completed. This elective insurance program provides coverage for tuition, room, meal plan, and the general fee and the technology/recreation fees.
This private insurance program supplements Penn's published Reduction of Tuition and Fees Policy. Subscribers are assured a 80% refund throughout the term, even though Penn's refund policy may have expired at the time of withdrawal. This can be especially beneficial when a student must withdraw for academic or personal reasons and then returns for a later term.
Participation in the Dewar Tuition Refund Plan is entirely optional. Penn does not receive any portion of the application fee or any revenue from Dewars.
