Pennant Access Requests

Pennant is Penn’s suite of next-generation student information systems. The Pennant suite includes several components in the areas of Accounts, Financial Aid, and Records.

To manage access to Pennant Systems we are leveraging a workflow form that can be found on the BP Logix Dashboard using the steps below:

  1. Login to BP Logix dashboard
  2. Click on Available Forms
  3. Select Pennant User Access Request
  4. If you are submitting a request for yourself
    • Select Access Request if this is new access or Terminate Access to request to have your access removed
    • Select the appropriate role and confirm that your supervisor is listed under approval supervisor and click Next
    • Read the disclosure and acknowledge, then click Next
    • You will be presented with pages for Records, Aid, Accounts and Other, please complete the questions on all 4.  You also have the option to add Notes at the bottom of the form to add additional detail, click “show notes” and “add new note”.
    • Review your selections on the Confirmation page and click Submit
    • The request will be routed to the appropriate users to approve and set up your access. You will be notified when the request has been completed by email. 
  5. If you are submitting a request for another staff member.
    • Search for the staff member by name, penn-id or pennkey.
    • Select Access Request if this is new access or Terminate Access to request to have your access removed
    • Select the appropriate Role and confirm that the supervisor is listed under approval supervisor is correct and click Next
    • You will be presented with pages for Records, Aid, Accounts and Other, please complete the questions on all 4.  You also have the option to add Notes at the bottom of the form to add additional detail, click “show notes” and “add new note”.
    • Review your selections on the Confirmation page and click Submit
    • The request will be routed to the staff member to acknowledge the disclosure and then to the appropriate users to approve and set up the access and you and the staff member.  You will  be notified when the request has been completed by email.
  6. You can always check on the status of a request by returning to the BP Logix Dashboard, under My Submitted Forms
