Penn has established a COVID-19 response team consisting of staff from Student Financial Services, Penn First Plus, and Student Intervention Services.
During this period of time, please submit requests for emergency funding to email@example.com. The COVID-19 response team will assess each request individually.
If you are experiencing an unexpected financial emergency that impacts your ability to pay for your academic expenses, it is very important that you let Student Financial Services know as soon as possible. If your financial circumstances have changed permanently, you may be able to file a request for reevaluation and a financial aid counselor will review your financial aid package for adjustments. If your financial emergency is more acute, you may be eligible to receive emergency grant or loan funding from a variety of resources.
SFS works in partnership with the Division of the Vice Provost for University Life (VPUL) to review requests for emergency funding.
