Special circumstances can affect a student’s financial aid situation, including a change in family circumstances, traumatic events, or reductions in income that may occur while the student is enrolled at the University. This may result in the need to clarify the student’s situation with the Student Financial Services office.
Students and parents who require information regarding the Income Reduction Review Process should contact Student Financial Services. Students and their families should be prepared to itemize the change in income and provide copies of all applicable documentation (IRS tax return transcripts, W2 forms, proof of marital separation, letter from former employer, etc.).
